A calm, supportive presence, even in challenging situations
Flexibility and strong communication skills
A full UK driving licence
A willingness to support our young people with day-to-day tasks, activities, medication, and community outings
A qualification in Health & Social Care (SCQF 7/SVQ/NVQ 3 or HNC) — or the willingness to work towards it (with our full support)
Whether you're looking for a full-time career or want to gain experience through relief or sessional work, we’d love to hear from people who care deeply and want to make a difference. We welcome those considering a career change or returning to work especially if you bring warmth, empathy, and resilience to the table.
Inspire Scotland is an equal opportunities employer.
Because of the nature of its work with children and young people, Inspire Scotland uses the Disclosure Scotland Service (PVG) to make checks at an enhanced level on all persons whose work or proposed work will involve regular contact with or working in close proximity to children and young people in our care.
For our England homes a DBS check will be required.
